Wonderful cartoon Idígoras and Pachi released almost 3 years ago in The World, which shows clearly the "blandismo" pervasive in our society. It shows that before the aggression can not walk with nonsense, we must defend ourselves, we must oppose. It is unthinkable that Churruca say something, as suggested in the vignette, they were people of different stuff, iron men in wooden ships and Cosme were fighting literally to the death for what they believed: honor, fellowship, duty, country ... But also the authors attempt to emulate the scene on the Death of Churruca oil Eugenio Alvarez Dumont. Great tribute to these heroes and a reminder of what must be and is not today.

Absolutely. I feel completely Spanish but not proud of it comes from who we are but of who we were. It is very hard not to be identified with those characters whose exploits marked the way forward to achieve the honor and nobility. So we were, for better or for worse, but with a couple of balls.
Today, one can not help thinking of what we would argue, their heirs, those brilliant men after seeing how much spirit and political correctness is turning us into a shadow of what we become.
