Tomorrow September 26th is a day of Saints Cosmas and Damian. Well ... so what? for a layman in naval history information is irrelevant. But to me caught my attention because the 27th was born 246 years will Cosme Damian Churruca. It is curious that this remarkable marine born a day after his saints, when the tradition is to take the name of the holy day of his birth. Surely there will be documents evidencing the source for 27, very possibly a birth certificate who happened to be used to perform quickly by protecting the infant against extreme infant mortality. But seeing no sense be called the saints of the day before his birth would not it be more logical to be born on the 26th was given the name of the saints of that day and was baptized on the following day, September 27, leaving registered its existence?

For what you said makes perfect sense and would not be surprising.
